I’m learning to follow paths that look promising even when I don’t know the destination.
I found myself meditating a lot more than usual. In a given day, I would normally think, I don’t have the time, but I was consistently setting my excuses aside because the practice of meditation gave me great comfort. It helped me tune out from my digital companion and all of the dopamine-inducing apps. I felt a little lighter and a little less on-edge.
I wanted to share meditation with others, especially the tragically underserved populations in this country. The populations with higher negative health outcomes, more daily incidents of being the target of aggression and less representation in preventative wellness spaces.
