Mindful Stillnes is a 6-Week Journey into Mindfulness & Emotional Resilience

Course Overview:
This 6-week series is designed to help you develop a grounded, compassionate mindfulness practice rooted in awareness, self-care and emotional resilience. We’ll also explore some of the extensive research behind why guided meditation, movement, reflection and discussion, provide practical tools to manage stress, build emotional strength and bring more patience and awareness into their daily life.


Week 1 – Foundations of Mindfulness
Learn what mindfulness is, why it matters and how simple practices like breath and body awareness can help you meet life with greater calm and clarity.

Practice: Light exercise to awaken the body, breath work, mental body scan and writing note to your future self (optional).

Week 2 – Thoughts, Emotions & Self-Awareness
Understand why your mental chatter affects your emotional patterns, and practice observing them without judgment. Learn to respond, not react.

Practice: Light exercise to awaken the body, meditation based on natural and musical sounds, labeling or noting meditation, journaling (optional).

Week 3 – Compassion & Empowerment
Explore loving-kindness and self-compassion as tools for healing. Learn how to honor your emotions while setting boundaries with grace.

Practice: Light exercise to awaken the body, loving-kindness (metta) meditation, journaling (optional).

Week 4 – Mindfulness in Daily Life
Bring mindfulness into everyday tasks like eating, walking and household chores. Create rituals that support long-term emotional wellness.

Practice: Light exercise to awaken the body, mindful walking, mindful eating, journaling (optional).

Week 5 – Focus & Boundaries
Deepen concentration and explore mindful communication strategies for asserting boundaries while maintaining peace and strength.

Practice: Light exercise to awaken the body single-pointed focus (e.g., breath or sound), guided boundary-setting reflection and reflection on how to skillfully approach disagreement and aggressions, journaling (optional).

Week 6 – Resilience & Integration
Reflect, connect, and create a sustainable mindfulness plan. Celebrate progress, honor the wisdom of your lived experience and know that this is but a stepping stone along your path.

Practice: Light exercise to awaken the body, a longer integrative meditation combining breath, body, sound and self-compassion practices, closing discussion and journaling (optional).

Includes: Weekly guided meditations, journaling prompts, and take-home mindfulness practices. Open to all levels.
