This is from a short story I wrote celebrating the ubiquitous swathes of fabric we use to transform outfits.
In the story, I wrote: “A beautifully draped scarf can be transformative, yet so many women are daunted by them. For years, friends have told me that they gave away scarves or bought but never wore a scarf because they “didn’t know what to do with it.”
There’s really not a “wrong” way to wrap a scarf, but I understand that many are looking for something new, different or fresh. To that end, I recruited some newsroom colleagues to help demonstrate how easy and accessible scarf-tying can be in a video titled “23 ways to wear a scarf.” We could have easily added 20 more, but I’m sure you’ll get the spark of inspiration.”
Hope you enjoy it.
